Basic rules in video poker

Video poker starts with you as a player being dealt five cards and then given the opportunity to make a change if you so wish.

How much you can bet usually varies between different games and casino sites. You can often adjust the number of credits per spin between one and five. Depending on the level you play at, each credit represents a certain value. When you have adjusted the bet and the credits so that you feel satisfied, click on "deal / draw".

The next step you encounter is that you get five cards. Here it is good if you know which poker hands are available and how these are valued. Now the machine will remove the cards you have chosen not to keep and add new cards. These cards now make up your poker hand and determine how much you win or lose.
